An Indian electrical utilities company NHPC formerly known as National Hydroelectric Power Corporation was established in 1975. The company has an authorized capital of about Rs. 2000 Million. It incorporates the objective of planning, promoting and organizing an efficient and integrated hydroelectric power development. NHPC is entitled with Miniratna category – I enterprise with a capital of Rs. 1, 50, 000 Million under government of India. It is rated among the top ten countries involved in investments in India. Other hydropower stations constructed by NHPC are Loktak Manipur, Salal-I Jammu & Kashmir, Tanakpur Uttarakhand, Chamera-I Himachal Pradesh, Rangit Sikkim, Indira Sagar Madhya Pradesh, Dul Hasti Jammu & Kashmir, Omkareshwar Madhya Pradesh and Teesta – V Sikkim etc. all these power plants along with other constructed ones possess a total power of 5526 Mega Watt.
With its vast range of network all over the country NHPC requires talented and hardworking candidates who can help to enhance the productivity of plants developed by the company. A number of candidates have been recruited every year in order to maintain an efficient staff.
